About the event
Globito Glow in the Village is our free, family-friendly balloon glow held on Historic 4th Street during Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta week. In 2025 the event drew 4,500–5,000 attendees for an evening of illuminated balloons, food, music, and community on the Mother Road.
Expanded lighting and visual displays throughout the district.
Increased entertainment and family activities for all ages.
Additional food vendors and business participation along Fourth Street.
Enhanced signage, parking communication and wayfinding to move the crowd smoothly.
Expanded marketing outreach across the metro area.

Sell, serve, connect
Globito Glow in the Village takes place Monday, October 5, 2026, 5:00–10:00 p.m., along the 4th Street corridor in Los Ranchos, between Schulte Road and Pueblo Solano Road NW. Food trucks, makers, non-profits, and local businesses are welcome to apply.
To apply, use the online form below and acknowledge that supporting documentation for vendor food permits and alcohol special permits will be obtained before the deadline.
The Village of Los Ranchos has no permitting requirements for vendors of arts, crafts, and prepackaged food.
All food vendors, including food trucks, food tents, and food carts, must be a current and approved Mobile Food Unit with the Village of Los Ranchos. The vendor application is available online at losranchosnm.gov/forms. Have questions? Contact: maustin@losranchosnm.gov or call 505-344-6582 ext 104.
All alcohol vendors must obtain a special event permit through the NM-RLD New Mexico Professional Licensing User System (NM-PLUS). You will need to work with the property owner where you will vend to get the information required to complete the special event permit application. Have questions? Required Village of Los Ranchos permits, and alcohol special event permits, must be approved on or before Monday, September 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. to participate.
Once your application is APPROVED, you will receive a link to pay your space fee online through our website payment portal. All booth fees must be received by Monday, September 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. to participate. We will not accept payments during the event. Questions? director@losranchoseconomicdevelopment.org
